- Awarded a Medal for providing outstanding weather support in May 2010 during the recovery and salvage operations of the Korean ship PCC-772 that sank off the coast of the North West islands in Korea. - Was the Naval Pacific Fleet Weather Forecaster during the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami on March 11, 2011 providing on-minute support to USN assets across the Western Pacific with continued weather support during the Fukushima Daiichi crisis and providing humanitarian support during the Tsunami Recovery effort.
